After a recent change of job role, I have been placed in charge of CRM systems for clients such as PC World. I have also helped build Britain’s largest business and consumer count builder which includes full, analysis reporting. As well as this, I have been responsible for the maintenance of current systems for external clients such as Kemps Publishing. All system above have been produced using C# and .NET 2.0.

For over half a year, I was responsible for translating client scripts into dynamic, data driven web pages created using classic ASP, JavaScript, XHTML and SQL. Clients include such companies as O2, Vodafone, The AA and Sky. In addition, I have produced numerous web applications using .NET 2.0 and C#, including various shopping carts and portals used by both clients and LBM employees.

Education

BSc (Hons) Computer Science

During my first year, I studied the core, fundamental units that underpin all of computer science. This includes Object Orientated Design with Java, Discrete Mathematics, Artificial intelligence and Computer Technology. I also took part in a group mini-project where I gained experience working in a team and learnt how to manage good team integration.

My second year gave me a greater, more detailed understanding of the core computer science concepts, which include such things as: C, C++, Software Engineering, Operating Systems, Networking, Databases, Computer Graphics and Logic.

Within my third year, my skills and understandings were further enhanced by the means of more detailed course units and an individual third year project. The core units studied included: Advanced Computer Graphics, Integration in Large Systems, Network Security, Distributed Operating Systems and Theory of Games and Game Models. My third year project consisted of creating a “Virtual Golf Course Designer” using C++ and OpenGL.

Computer Skills

I have proficient knowledge of ASP, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS, Perl, PHP, OpenGL and SQL. I also have experience using Windows XP, Linux, Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, Photoshop, Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005 and Visual Source Safe.

I also have an online portfolio of web and software development, which can be made available on request. In addition, I have taken a week long, fast track course in C#, accredited by Microsoft.
